Brickballer is now hosted at my developer page on Itch.io, a site dedicated to indie games. The game can be played in a web-browser or downloaded for offline play.
Here is the first release of my first game! I hope you all enjoy it. Those who have tried it so far have described it as difficult but addictive. I'd appreciate any feedback you may have after playing it yourself.
Here is the link to the game compressed in 7-zip format. 7-zip is a free archive tool which can be found easily on the web and used to extract the game from the archive. Then, just click the brickballer.exe file to start playing; no need to install the game. http://www.tinyupload.org/9slbd48fj5a Just completed 10 levels of Brickballer now. I will probably do five more levels or so before I release the game, then I will start focusing more on this site. I have some great ideas for articles but I really want to get the game finished and out of the way first. Until then, here are a couple more screens of the latest levels to be created.
Well, the site is up! There isn't much content yet as my time is focused on finishing off the first game which will be featured on the site. This game, Brickballer, is a breakout style game with some pinball features incorporated to add a little variety. The game will be totally free and will be the basis for the initial articles to feature on this site.
The coding is complete (at least until I decide to add more features) and I just have to finish designing a few more levels in Unity before the game will be released, hopefully in the next few days. Until then, goodbye and thanks for visiting. |
